Semester 3 has finally ended. Despite all that happened … I think it was the best sem altogether.

The mpi week was awesome ..and we got third place =) .. I was on crutches for a week … and various other events .. which i don’t quite remember .. plus Fasya , Wahida , Fiza and Mayura were the best thing that had ever happened to me in MCB .
I’ve no idea what to expect for this sem’s grade.

SEMESTER THREE IS OVER ^_^ !!!!!!!!! one sem left . ONE more sem.

strangely .. that notion is sort of saddening.

I'm thinking of applying to these 3 universities . I haven't written any of the admission essays yet . So ....

1. University of Wisconsin , Madison.
2. University of Texas, Austin.
3. University of Michigan , Ann Arbor.

btw, laziness pays . painfully.

so be it.

sometimes , when i look back this past 2 years . I'm not sure if I've just found myself a new identity. or i've just lost myself completely.

I've learnt that just because u try to accept people for who they are and actually be there for them when they need you does not necessarily mean they'll do the same to you.
Just because you try to blend into the community you live in doesn't mean they'll allow you to be a part of them .

You learn that there are actually more "talam dua muka" people out there claiming to be your friend when you are practically their number 1 geek on their gossip list.

I wrote this raya card to someone i've liked since orientation week . but i don't have the guts to mail it to him .

i just couldn't bring myself to be part of the "gedik" girls in my college .
they're like flirting with all the guys they meet .get all manja and act as if they're most popular b**** in campus. And some of them actually judged what kind of person you are by your IB grade.aiyo .. talk about mentality.

if I'm left out because i can't be part of them . then be it.

On a lighter note ..

I've gotten 1000 words on my EE :) still 3000 words to go .. and I'm leaving for London this monday =) it's my bro's graduation at Imperial . it's ironic sometimes .. he's pursuing Astrophysics and i'll prolly be doing Geophysics ..
sorang study langit , sorang study bumi .. XD lol

Recently in US , there's been uproar on China-made products . Be it toys , cribs and mostly children-related products .

Sometimes it makes me wonder if the whole notion is actually an indirect trade barrier done discretely by the US . In other words , one way of decreasing demand for China's exports .Lately , most american manufacturing companies have been employing Asian workers - majority from China . As they cost half to be hired and pretty much more efficient than hiring American workers . So , perhaps due to this frustration that the demand for American employment itself has beeen declining , tarnishing the image of the successor country seems like a handy way of curbing a certain problem .

In the economics world , a simple shift to the demand curve can cause the whole nation to suffer sometimes .

less demanded by the consumers
less will be supplied by the suppliers
to cut down the supply means they need less workers


if demand drops even more , some manufacturing companies might have to shrink down their business . or in severe cases , gulung tikar .

unemployment rise
government have to supply higher amount of social benefit ( for the jobless , homeless). tax rate could increase ..
crime rate could increase if things becomes critical.

I mean , of all the products to choose . One concerning health would be the highest regarded in the sense of importance . What more a child's health . A parent's best asset .

After choosing an issue to attack on , the rest is in the media's hand .

First was the lead paint .

I'll be heading back to campus tomorrow . 3 weeks really flew by fast . But Guess what ??!!
I'm finally done with my world lit essay . *YAAAAAYYYY *throws hands in the air xD *

and i thought i've learnt enough lessons on not putting things till last minute -__-"


shall be facing a fresh semester with all the lovely assignments and seeing new faces in school .
I hope it's gonna be a good sem :)
